Barring unforeseen circumstances, Clipped Wings updates on Tuesdays and Fridays at 12:00am CST. Because I have to update the site manually, pages sometimes appear a few minutes early or a few minutes late. If a new page isn't showing up, hard refresh.
Clipped Wings is probably most suitable for people around 17-18 and older. There's fantasy violence, blood, profanity, nudity, themes of sexuality, and other sensitive themes. Clipped Wings is not pornographic or too terribly gory, but it's definitely not appropriate for younger readers.
Fanwork is more than okay! Every time someone creates fanwork, I clap and cheer and do a little dance over it.
Outside of some commercial restrictions that don't apply to 99% of the people reading this, my only real policy is as follows; please don't make fanwork that's hateful, excessively obscene, or otherwise offensive or in poor taste.
Other than that, feel free to create fanwork however you'd please. It can be canon-compliant or an alternate take, it can be silly or it can be serious, or anything in between - there are no restrictions on that front, be as creative as you wish! Please feel free to send it to me through email, or tag the Clipped Wings account on Bluesky. I would totally love to see it and share it.
No, this is completely prohibited - sorry. That being said, I don't mind one-off commissions. Paying someone to draw Juno for you, being paid by someone to crochet Ryker for them, and so on – these are fine. But making a bunch of Ryker and Juno charms and prints and selling them on Etsy or at a convention, for example, is not allowed.
You're welcome to use art from the comic in a non-commercial manner. Using my art to make edits, social media icons, collages, image macros, printouts for your room, etc. is all totally fine. You can also use small sections of the comic for things like blog posts, reviews, and press. A link back or some other form of credit is always appreciated! However, you may not make money by selling my illustrations in any form, and you may not repost large sections of this comic elsewhere without my permission. You absolutely may not use any part of my art or writing to train generative AI models for any reason.

The comic is drawn fully digitally using Paint Tool SAI on my beloved clunky laptop.
The overarching story is fully planned out. There's some wiggle room for me to tweak things if inspiration strikes, but at this point it's just a matter of scripting and illustrating.
